The Betrayal: 5.31

It appears that some of the most religiously fervent folk are also some of the most hypocritical. Godfrey Georges is one of those people. He allies with a known villain, steals for his benefit, and lies to make himself appear greater than he actually is. Too bad the holier-than-thou aura doesn’t protect him from a bullet in the head.

El Cuervo lost his faith a long time ago, and perhaps his soul – whatever was left of it. An episode like this won’t help to try and reclaim it.

FIN Chapter 5

I’m going to take a short break to finish Chapter 6 so you can see it in its entirety. January is looking to be a busy month with the arrival of our first child and all of the fumbling and bumbling that goes with it.

Routines – out the window.
Sleep – a forgotten luxury.

I get to bask in the glow of wailing, pooping, feeding and schlepping. I say I’m ready, but as a first time parent – you’re never ready.

I’d like to get far enough ahead on the art so the site can run on auto-pilot and all I’ll have to do is post updates to Twitter and G+ to keep you good folks in the loop. I’ll be back soon with the end chapter of the first book! So exciting. I didn’t think I’d ever make it this far. Then the tricky part – do I publish digitally or go to print? I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it, I suppose.

Later.

The Betrayal: 5.30

When the devil comes to pay you a visit, don’t try and fool yourself into thinking he’s not real. It’s insulting.
